Roster Report

Jazz eliminated from the postseason · Notes, Quotes · Roster Report

--C Al Jefferson had 17 points and 10 rebounds while playing 36 minutes in Friday night's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. That's the 34th double-double of the season for Jefferson, who started at power forward because seldom-used Kyrylo Fesenko was in the opening lineup Friday. It's the first time this season Jefferson has not opened at center.

--F Paul Millsap had 16 points in Friday night's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. In six games back after missing five straight due to patella inflammation in his left knee, Millsap is averaging 20.6 points. With Kyrylo Fesenko starting at center and Al Jefferson at power forward, usual power forward Millsap made his first start of the season at small forward Friday.

"I thought he did a pretty good job, for the most part," coach Tyrone Corbin said of Millsap at the 3-spot. "He moved his feet pretty good on defense, which is what my major concern was -- how he'd handle the 3-man on the perimeter."

--C Kyrylo Fesenko started at center for the Jazz on Friday and finished with four points and eight rebounds while logging 27 minutes in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. It was the first start of the season for Fesenko, and just the seventh of his four-season Jazz career.

--G/F C.J. Miles had a game-high 24 points in the Jazz's loss Friday night to the Los Angeles Lakers. Miles shot 8-for-16 from the field, but he was 0-for-5 from three-point range. After going 6-for-7 on trey tries in a career-high 40-point game against Minnesota on March 16, Miles is 7-for-39 (17.9 percent) from behind the long-distance line. Friday marked just the third time this season Utah has lost when Miles has scored 20-plus. Utah is now 13-3 when he does that.

--G Raja Bell (sprained right foot) was injured during the third quarter of the Jazz's loss to Washington on Monday night and did not return. Bell did not play Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. It is not known how long he will be out.

--G Ronnie Price (bruised shin) was injured last Monday night against Washington and did not play Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. It is not known when the reserve combo guard will return.

--F Andrei Kirilenko (bruised peroneal nerve, left knee) was injured in the second quarter of a March 23 loss at Oklahoma City and has been out since. The Jazz say their starting small forward is "day-to-day," and Kirilenko remains hopeful he will be able to return sometime before the season ends.

--G Devin Harris (strained right hamstring) left a March 14 win over Philadelphia early, and was re-injured in a March 21 loss at Memphis. He hasn't played since then. The Jazz are calling their starting point guard "day-to-day."

--C Kyrylo Fesenko (migraines) did not dress Monday night against Washington. But he returned Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers, and was in the starting lineup for the first time this season. He finished with four points and eight rebounds in 27 minutes.

--C Mehmet Okur (strained lower back, Achilles tendon surgery rehab) re-injured his back Jan. 28. He has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
