01/02/2013 - Scouting the Florida pass defense: Aside from occasional pass-interference issues, Florida has been as strong against the pass as it has been against the run this season. The Gators have allowed just 186.4 passing yards per game with an SEC-high 19 interceptions. CBs Loucheiz Purifoy and Jaylen Watkins have emerged as solid cover corners, while CB Marcus Roberson has been up and down as UF's nickel corner. The Gators have also generated a strong pass rush this season with 36 sacks, which hasn't given opposing QBs much time to throw. - The Sports Xchange
