12/07/2011 - 2011 ALL-WAC SECOND TEAM (COACHES): DB-Jonte Green, Sr., New Mexico State, has been selected All-WAC Conference Second Team for the 2011 college football season as voted upon by the WAC's eight head coaches. Green (St. Petersburg, Fla.) recorded 70 tackles on the season and led the team with 14 pass break-ups on the season, which ranked him second in the WAC. Green also grabbed two interceptions on the year, along with one forced fumble. Green tallied his first career interception of his career against Louisiana Tech and then grabbed his second in his final game as an Aggie against Utah State. - New Mexico State football

09/12/2011 - WAC WEEK 2 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: New Mexico State defensive back Jonte Green, a senior from St. Petersburg, Fla. (Lakewood HS), led the Aggies with 10 solo tackles in the win over Minnesota. He also forced a fumble and broke up a pass while recording his second double-digit tackle game of his career.
