This season, he has started 10 games and missed a pair to injury, ranking third on the team with 57 tackles (32 solo), second in tackles-for-loss (8.0) and sharing the team lead with two fumbles forced. 09/22/2015 - SEPT 21 MOUNTAIN WEST SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Boise State LB Tanner Vallejo made his mark on special teams by blocking two kicks, the last of which helped preserve Boise State's first shutout since 2011. On consecutive Idaho State possessions to open the second half, Vallejo blocked a punt then a field goal. After blocking Zak Johnson's low line drive punt, Vallejo recovered the loose ball at the 27-yard line. On the next Bengal possession, they drove deep into Bronco territory and set up for a 31-yard field goal, which Vallejo got his hands on to keep the shutout intact and the Broncos ahead 28-0. - Boise State Football
