He was a two-year starter for Carter High School in the secondary for Coach Allen Wilson. He also contributed on offense. He rushed 31 times for 331 yards and three touchdowns in his senior season. He played in only four games as a junior before being sideline for the remainder of the season with an injury. He had 25 tackles and eight pass break ups in his limited action. The Dallas Morning News rated him as the No. 51 overall player in the metro area. Scout.com rated him as the No. 92 cornerback in the country. He chose Arkansas over Oklahoma State and Rice.


He is the son of Isaac Madison Sr. and Ruby Hatley. 40-yard dash: 4.3.
