2005 Season

Played in 11 games, missing the TCU contest due to injury … Nine starts at nose tackle … Recovered a fumble in the season finale at Hawai'i … Returned to the line-up at CSU, logging four tackles … Did not play against TCU (injury) … Six tackles at Utah … Credited with a career-high seven tackles, including 1.5 for loss at UNLV … Had two tackles and a forced fumble at the goal line in the Ohio State game … Started the opener with UCLA, tallying five tackles and a half sack.

2004 Season

Finished the season with 25 tackles, including six stops behind the line of scrimmage … Had a season-high six tackles at Wyoming with two of those coming behind the line of scrimmage … Credited with four tackles, two tackles for loss, a quarterback sack and forced fumble against Colorado State … Had 16 solo tackles as a sophomore.

2003 Season

Finished the year with 20 tackles, including three behind the line of scrimmage … Tackles total was third among SDSU's defensive front four … Fourteen of his tackles were unassisted … First career start came at Ohio State in SDSU's 16-13 loss to the defending national champs … Had three tackles against the Buckeyes, four against New Mexico (including three solo stops) and five in the win over Samford … Was runner-up in voting for MWC defensive newcomer of the year by the Las Vegas Review-Journal following his freshman season in 2003.

High School

A member of the prestigious Florida all-state team after playing on a state runner-up squad … Played for a Tampa Jefferson squad that posted a 13-2 record … Earned the Jimbo Kynes Award, presented to the top lineman in Hillsborough County … As a senior, his accolades included all-region and all-Gulf Coast … Team defensive MVP after recording 85 tackles and 12 quarterback sacks … A four-year football letterman who also earned two letters in basketball and track.
