2004 Season

Missed some of spring drills with injury … appeared in nine games, making eight tackles … logged one sack for an eight-yard loss, 2.5 tackles for loss of 12 yards and recorded six QB hurries … part of team that posted 42-10 record from 2001-04 (sixth best in the country), three straight seasons of 10 or more wins, three straight bowl victories, and three consecutive national top six finishes.

2003 Season

Recorded six tackles, one QB sack and one tackle-for-loss in annual spring G-Day game … recipient of Coffee County Hustle Award for exhibiting the best desire and hustle during spring practice … also received Outstanding Defensive Lineman Award for performance during spring practice … listed as number two DT at conclusion of spring drills … played in 12 games including four starts … best game vs. Florida (7 tackles) … part of Georgia defense that ranked 2nd nationally in Scoring Defense (14.5 ppg), 4th in Total Defense (276.86 ypg), 6th in Passing Defense (174.50 ypg),14th nationally in Turnover Margin (+.79), and 4th in number of scoreless quarters (25) among the AP's final Top Ten teams.

2002 Season


High School

High School: Chapel Hill … played just one year of varsity football before spending his senior season at Hargrave … All-Conference during his junior season … made 98 total tackles and 12 sacks during his junior campaign … a regular winner of team's weekly "Super Monster" Award for hard work in the weight room … High School Coach: Joe Wolfe.

Prep School: 2001 Hargrave Military … Played defensive end under coach Lonnie Messick, totaling 38 tackles with six sacks … made one interception and scored a touchdown.
