2011 Season
Tannehill set new single-season school records for yards (3,744), attempts (531) and completions (327) in 2011. He was a finalist for the Unitas Award and Campbell Trophy and semifinalist for the O'Brien Award this season. He also finished second on the school's single-season list in touchdown passes (29) and total offense (4,050). In his first full season at quarterback this year, Tannehill had six 300-yard passing games, including a 415-yard output against Baylor. Tannehill wrapped up his career at Texas A&M as the most accurate passer in school history, with a 62.5% completion percentage. He ranks sixth on the Aggies' all-time list in passing yards (5,450), fifth in touchdown passes (42), fifth in completions (484) and seventh in attempts (774). The Big Spring, Texas native will leave Texas A&M as perhaps the most versatile player in school history, having excelled at both quarterback and wide receiver. He is the only player in FBS history to post a 400-yard passing game and 200-yard receiving game. He is also the only player in FBS history to total more than 4,000 passing yards and 1,500 receiving yards in a career.
2010 Season
Earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors after taking over the quarterback position in mid-season and leading the Aggies to six straight wins (coming off the bench against Kansas) and a berth in the Cotton Bowl ... caught 11 passes for 143 and a score as a reserve receiver before starting the final six games at QB ... completed 65.0 percent of his passes (152-234) for 1,638 yards and 13 touchdowns against six interceptions ... ran for 76 yards and a touchdown, as well.
2009 Season
