2012 Season
Bushell, an Administration of Justice major, graduated from Louisville in December after transferring from Florida in 2010. The product of DeSoto, Texas, earned the award because of the amount of credit hours he took over the last two years so that he could earn his degree upon completion of his athletic eligibility.

A two-year starter for the Cardinals, Bushell was a two-time first team All-BIG EAST performer. This past season, Bushell was fourth on the squad with 62 tackles and recorded a team-high 13 pass break-ups.

2011 Season
Named BIG EAST Special Teams Player of the Week on Nov. 7 and Nov. 21 ... joined the team after training camp ... ranks fifth on the team with 43 tackles despite only playing nine games ... leads the team with two blocked kicks ... made six tackles including a tackle for loss in win at USF ... returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown at Connecticut ... added five stops against the Huskies ... made seven stops in win at West Virginia and blocked a field goal which was returned by Andrew Johnson for a touchdown ... had six in loss to Marshall ... set career-high with 11 stops at Kentucky ... made Louisville debut against FIU.
