Bryant ended his career with 27.5 sacks, good enough to claim the ECU Career Sacks title.
Bryant recorded a total of 10.5 sacks, for 79 yards, his senior season, while adding 54 (27-27) tackles, 17.5 tackles-for-loss (115 yards), seven quarterbacks hurries, three pass break-ups, four forced fumbles, two blocked kicks, and two fumble recoveries (53 yards). Bryant scored one touchdown on a forced fumble and recovery that ended up being the game-winning TD against Southeastern Oklahoma State (Nov. 10). The Wichita Falls, Texas, native earned 2012 AFCA Division II Coaches' All-America honors, was named The Oklahoman State College All-Star Football Team Defensive Player of the Year and claimed All-Great American Conference First Team honors.
Bryant is coming off two stellar seasons with the Tigers...He was a First Team All-Great American Conference selection in 2011 and picked up one GAC Defensive Player of the Week award and Oklahoman State College Player of the Week for his performance in ECU's 29-12 home victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State, which included 14 tackles (three solos) with five stops for minus-15 yards, including a pair of quarterback sacks.
Bryant earned D2Football.com First Team All-American and Daktronics Second Team All-American honors as a sophomore in 2010 as he was third in the nation in quarterback sacks at 13.5 (most by a defensive lineman)...picked up a Daktronics First Team All-Region award in 2010 and was named Lone Star Conference North Defensive Lineman of the Year...Bryant picked up two LSC North Defensive Player of the Week honors and one LSC North Special Teams Player of the Week award in 2010.
