Warren was a first-team All-Ohio Valley Conference selection as a junior after helping the Gamecocks to their most successful season at the Division I level with an 11-4 record and into the quarter-finals of the NCAA playoffs. Warren was one of the most athletic players on the defensive side of the ball and finished second on the team in tackles with 76 total stops. He led the Gamecocks with five interceptions that he returned for a total of 105 yards and one touchdown. The Prattville, Ala., native also posted team-highs in passes defended (17) and pass breakups (12). He also had a fumble return and one blocked kick from his defensive back position.
Played in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as a sophomore and was in the starting lineup in 10 of them...was fourth on the team with 51 tackles, 27 solo and 24 assisted...had three tackles for a loss, four pass break-ups and one fumble recovery...returned that fumble recovery 75 yards for a touchdown in the Gamecocks' Sept. 8 win over Chattanooga...recorded a season-high 10 tackles on Nov. 3 at UT Martin...had nine tackles vs. Southeast Missouri on Sept. 29 and seven in the season finale at Florida on Nov. 17...had at least one tackle in all 11 games.
Played in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as a freshman, starting the final four at safety...tied for sixth on the team with 39 tackles, while his 34 solo stops were fifth on the squad...had three tackles for a loss, two of which came at Murray State on Oct. 1...nabbed a team-best three interceptions, including one that he returned 98 yards for a touchdown in the season finale at Tennessee State on Nov. 19...the interception return was the longest in JSU's Division I history, the third-longest in JSU's all-time history, the longest by a Gamecock since 1982 and the longest by an OVC player since 2007...recovered two fumbles and made a season-high seven stops at Kentucky on Oct. 22...also had an interception at Asutin Peay on Oct. 15 that he returned eight yards and one vs. Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 5 that had no return.
Played at Marbury High School for Kyle Glover...was a two-time all-metro selection and was an all-county selection as a senior...was a four-year letterman and a three-year starter...helped the Bulldogs advance to the state playoffs...also lettered in basketball, where he was named team's Most Valuable Player and was an all-area selection.
