Johnson tallied another outstanding year for the Lakers on the gridiron, hauling in 72 receptions for 1,199 yards and 16 TDs. All three totals rank fourth on the Lakers' single-season charts. He broke the 100-yard receiving mark seven times during his senior campaign and became the first Laker to break the 138-yard receiving mark in four consecutive games. For his career, Johnson ranks second in TD catches (31), fourth in receiving yards (2,229) and 6th in total receptions.
