2013 Season
Purifoy was a constant playmaker for the Florida defense. He totaled just 24 tackles, but his impact was felt in many other ways. He had two interceptions, one which was returned for a touchdown, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, a blocked punt and two sacks on the season.
2012 Season
Played in all 13 games and started 12...Was instrumental on special teams, with three forced fumbles and two blocked kicks...Finished the season fourth on the team with 51 tackles and added five pass breakups on the season...Against Louisiana, Purifoy blocked a punt in the final seconds that was recovered and returned for a touchdown by Jelani Jenkins to win the game...Added five tackles in win over the Ragin Cajuns...Blocked a field goal for the first time in his career against Missouri...Recorded a career high and led the team with eight tackles against Georgia...Caused two fumbles against South Carolina, the first coming on the first play of the game to set up a Florida touchdown and had another on the subsequent kickoff that was recovered by South Carolina...Added three solo tackles against the Gamecocks...Recorded six tackles against Tennessee.
