UPDATE (1:45 p.m. ET): Hill DID NOT sign with the Rattlers. The press release mentioned below was an outdated link and Hill is not on the AFL roster. We apologize for the error.

The Giants made a pretty easy decision earlier this week to release Will Hill. The talented-but-troubled safety was suspended by the NFL for the third time in three years.

Surprisingly, Hill's already found work again. It's just not in the NFL -- Hill signed with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League the team announced (via NFL.com).

“I'm excited to get out on the field,” said Hill. “I'm ready to get out there and put people over the [dasher board] wall.”

If you're wondering why Hill so quickly leapt into the fray of the AFL, well, it could be money problems. According to a report out of New York, owners of the house Hill was renting claims he owes them $15,000 after leaving the house with a "maggot infestation, holes in the wall, dog feces from his four pit bulls and filthy bathtubs in the home."

Additionally, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports Hill owes "at least one other former business associate money."

Not a strong month or so for the former Florida standout.
