2013 Hall of Fame: Warren Sapp will be first ever with braided bust
Warren Sapp will be the first Pro Football Hall of Famer with a braided bust when he's inducted on Saturday.
Warren Sapp won't be the first ever Tampa Bay Buccaneer in the Pro Football Hall of Fame -- that honor belongs to Lee Roy Selmon -- but Sapp will have at least one Hall of Fame first under his belt when he's inducted on Saturday: a braided bust.
Although Sapp spent most of his career with a shaved head, he decided he wanted a Hall of Fame bust with braids and sculptor Blair Buswell obliged, as you can see in these photos from the Tampa Bay Times.
These pictures don't represent the finished product, so don't worry Sapp fans, Sapp isn't going to have a creepy head of clay in Canton, Ohio. The clay sculpture pictured is the model used for the bronze bust that will be unveiled when Sapp is inducted on Saturday.
