The newest American football sensation, Austrialian rugby star Jarryd Hayne, has landed in the United States, signing a deal with the 49ers.
We detailed the interest in Hayne previously, but he's officially an American footballer now, dead set on chasing his dream and looking as much like an 18-year-old at signing day as possible.
Whether or not Hayne can make an impact at the NFL level remains to be seen. He's certainly got some attributes that lead you to believe he can return kicks or be a modern-era type running back (speed, power, ball-handling, catching, etc.) as you can tell from his insane highlights.
At the very least we know the dude can tackle. Worst case is you stick him at linebacker and let him wrap it up.
