Jaxson de Ville has had enough. Specifically, the man behind Jaxson de Ville, the Jaguars' mascot, is calling it a career after nearly two decades. Forty-year-old Curtis Dvorak, who never missed a home game, says he's ready for the next chapter of his life.

It's time,” Dvorak told News4Jax.com. “(I've spent) 19 seasons in that building, jumping off those light towers. Even though I tell people I started when I was 10, I actually started when I got out of college. I eat a little too much Advil -- more than I should -- and I have some really cool opportunities here in town that I have been working on for a long time."

Dvorak counts BMX bike jumps, skydiving into the stadium and stunts off the stadium light standards as some of his favorites, though others' list of most memorable moments likely include:

Meting out some football justice, Tim Tebow style...

Streaking...

Comedy stylings...

Prowess on the golf course...

And, of course, Ebola humor...

This much is certain: Dvorak as Jaxson de Ville will be missed.

"I had the privilege and honor of raising Jaxson for 19 years,” Dvorak said. “I gave him life. I had 19 years to raise him. Now it's somebody else's turn."
