Andy Dalton Hail Mary finds AJ Green for game-tying touchdown
This is now how you defend a Hail Mary.
Let's set the scene: Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil had just sacked Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton to make it 3rd and 15 from the Bengals' 49-yard line with seconds to go and Cincinnati trailing 17-10.
After a Dalton spike to stop the clock on the final play of regulation, the Bengals' QB dropped back and threw the ball as far as he could -- which, it turns out, is about 50 yards in the air -- where it was tipped by a group of players near the three-yard line, tipped again by Ravens safety James Ihedigbo at the goal line, and eventually hauled in by Cincy wide receiver A.J. Green in the back of the end zone for what has to be the easiest touchdown catch of his life.
That play tied the score but the Bengals would lose in overtime.
