Best NFL football knockout, survivor pool picks, strategy, advice for Week 7, 2019
SportsLine's model tells you which team to back in Week 7.
The NFL season is approaching its midpoint, which means it's getting tougher to advance in survivor and knockout pools. Most pools allow you to select a team only once, so your possible choices dwindle each week. Many players already have used the undefeated New England Patriots as part of their NFL survivor pool picks. So for Week 7 they're left with choices like the Green Bay Packers (hosting Oakland), San Francisco 49ers (visiting Washington) and Buffalo Bills (hosting Miami). Should any of those teams be among your top NFL knockout picks for Week 7? And if you haven't used the Patriots yet, can you trust them on the road against the rejuvenated Jets? The proven computer model at SportsLine has your back with its Week 7 NFL picks and survivor strategy.
Since its inception, this model is up almost $7,000 for $100 players on its top-rated NFL picks. On straight-up picks, it ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch for the third straight year and beat over 96 percent of CBS Sports office pool players last season. Anyone who has followed it is way up.
Now, the model has revealed its optimal NFL knockout picks for Week 7 only at SportsLine.
We can tell you the model isn't going with the 5-1 Packers, even though they're winning 65 percent of simulations against the visiting Raiders. Green Bay was fortunate to win last Monday against Detroit, as the Pack benefited from several questionable calls in a 23-22 victory. And the Packers remain severely banged-up at receiver. Davante Adams is out with turf toe, while Geronimo Allison (concussion) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle/knee) have been unable to practice this week.
Oakland, meanwhile, has been solid offensively behind quarterback Derek Carr, who leads the NFL with a 73.3 completion percentage. Carr has quickly developed chemistry with 6-foot-6 tight end Darren Waller. He's caught 37 passes for 359 yards, both team highs, helping to compensate for Antonio Brown's departure. The 3-2 Raiders just beat the Bears and Colts, so they're no easy out.
There's a team that's winning more often than the Packers, and it's the top play for your NFL pool picks this week. Picking this team also sets you up for the rest of the season. You need to see who it is before locking in any NFL survivor picks.
So which team is a must-back in your Week 7 survivor pool? Visit SportsLine now to see which team carries you to victory in Week 7, all from the proven computer model that's ranked in the top 10 in straight-up picks three years running.
