Browns G Jason Pinkston taken to hospital with blood clot
A scary situation has developed in Cleveland, as starting right guard Jason Pinkston has been admitted to the hospital for a blood clot. As the Cleveland Plain Dealer writes, he'll miss Sunday's game vs. the Colts, and his status beyond that is unknown.

A scary situation has developed in Cleveland, as starting right guard Jason Pinkston has been admitted to the hospital for a blood clot. As the Cleveland Plain Dealer writes, he’ll miss Sunday’s game vs. the Colts, and his status beyond that is unknown.
Pinkston was taken to the emergency room Thursday, and after doctors discovered the clot, he was transferred to the Cleveland Clinic where he’s been treated aggressively with blood thinners. Doctors also are trying to determine how the clot formed.
Pinkston had been feeling symptoms the past few weeks, and last Sunday vs. the Bengals, he got ill a few times on the sideline. He thought he might have pneumonia, and after practice Wednesday, he didn’t feel good. On Thursday, he was worse and went to the hospital.
"At this point, we're more concerned with Jason's well-being than anything else," his agent Neil Schwartz told the paper. "We're taking it one step at a time."
