Browns hire Blake Williams, Jerod Kruse
Browns add two young coaches to their staff.
The Cleveland Browns are adding Blake Williams and Jerod Kruse to their coaching staff.
Williams, the son of defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, will be the head linebackers coach. Kruse will coach the safeties and potentially assist the special teams unit as well. Kruse served under Williams in Los Angeles last season.
Chris Tabor and Shawn Mennenga are currently coaching special teams. Johnny Holland and Ryan Slowik had previously coached the inside and outside linebackers. They were relieved of their duties on Tuesday.
Cleveland's staff will head to Mobile, Alabama on Monday to begin preparations to coach the Reese's Senior Bowl.
