Browns' top pick Mingo (lung) released from the hospital

Cleveland Browns first-round pick Barkevious Mingo has been released from the hospital following his lung injury, according to a league source.

Mingo will miss a week or so and is not expected to play in the third preseason game, but he escaped a more serious injury.

In other Browns injury news, running back Dion Lewis is going for a second opinion on his fractured leg, an injury which could potentially end his season.

Browns rookie kicker Brandon Bogotay, who could well win the job there in front of veteran Shayne Graham, suffered only a mild groin strain.

The Browns are still awaiting a more definitive prognosis on starting guard Jason Pinkston who suffered an ankle injury in their win over Detroit as well. He left the game and did not return.
