Chowchilla High School proved it can also be a game of wills Friday against Golden West in California's Central Section Division IV semifinals.
The Redskins were less than 10 yards away from the end zone trailing 24-20 with time winding down in the game and perhaps on their season.
Receiver Damon Perry caught a pass, ran diagonally across the field and pitched the ball to Ronnie Reyes. The senior running back refused to be denied, dragging a defender five yards into the end zone for the wild game-winning touchdown.
