Cleveland Browns select RB Trent Richardson with 3rd pick in 2012 NFL Draft
RB Trent Richardson is such a special player that the Cleveland Browns, who have needs up and down the roster, traded up from No. 4 to get him.
There's an argument to be made against taking running backs with early round draft picks since the league is trending more towards the passing game, but Trent Richardson is a special player. So much so that the Cleveland Browns, who have needs up and down the roster, traded up from No. 4 to get him. The former Alabama star is considered the best running back to enter the league since Adrian Peterson.
And if that assessment is close to being accurate, the Browns just got a lot better. But they're not done stocking the offense. They have the 22nd and 37th picks and wide receiver and quarterback could be on the wish list.
