DeAngelo Williams dyes hair pink to honor mom, fight breast cancer
DeAngelo Williams continued his fight against breast cancer on Sunday by dying his hair pink and painting his toenails and fingernails pink.
In May of 2014, Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams lost his mother to breast cancer. He's taken an outspoken stance in helping to fight the disease and on Sunday he'll show his stance with his hair.
Via Adam Schefter of ESPN, Williams dyed his hair pink in honor of his mom in addition to painting his fingernails and toenails pink as well.
It'll be interesting to see whether the NFL fines Williams or not. A lot of times this would fall under a uniform violation, but tagging a player for a fine when they're attempting to fight breast cancer wouldn't go over particularly well with fans, with good reason.
Regardless, DeAngelo will be motivated when he hits the field.
