Divisional Round NFL picks and Sunday best bets from a legendary expert: This four-way parlay would pay 10-1
R.J. White, who was 4-0 against the spread last weekend, shares his best plays for Sunday playoff action.
The 2019 NFL Divisional schedule rolls on Sunday with a pair of must-see games. The Patriots are four-point favorites over the Chargers with the total at 47.5, while the Saints are eight-point favorites over the Eagles with the total at 52. These are the smallest and largest NFL spreads of the weekend, respectively. Both games are expected to be relatively high-scoring despite frigid temperatures at Gillette Stadium and the Eagles only scoring seven points in their last trip to the Superdome. Before you lock in any NFL picks for the Divisional Round's Sunday schedule, check out what SportsLine's No 1. NFL expert, R.J. White has to say. After all, he went a perfect 4-0 over Wild Card Weekend and is on a stunning 55-31 roll on NFL against the spread picks. Anyone who has followed him is way up.
White has studied the two Sunday games in depth and has revealed a quartet of plays -- two against the spread and two on the total. If you parlay these four picks together, you would be looking at a massive 10-1 payout. If you risk $100, you could be looking at a $1,000 payout.
Using the latest NFL odds for Sunday, we can tell you White is loving the over (47.5) in the AFC battle between the Chargers and Patriots that kicks off from Gillette Stadium at 1:05 p.m. ET.
This is a battle of offenses that ranked in the top 10 in the regular season in scoring. The Chargers averaged 26.8 points per game, tied for sixth in the league, while the Patriots were fourth with 27.3 points per contest.
The Patriots vs. Chargers weather could be a factor, but that's certainly not something new for New England. And the Chargers scored 23 against a stingy Baltimore defense last week on a cold afternoon. With big-time players like Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, Melvin Gordon, Keenan Allen and Rob Gronkowski, White is expecting plenty of points in this game, so confidently lock in the over as an important part of your Sunday NFL parlay.
Another Sunday NFL prediction from White: the NFC matchup between the Saints and Eagles goes under (50.5).
Despite its billing as one of the league's best offenses, New Orleans only averaged 18 points per game in its last five outings. Even with Ted Ginn Jr. back in the equation this week after an injury, Drew Brees doesn't have a ton of weapons in the passing game
And while the Saints rolled the Eagles 48-7 earlier this season, that score raises some concerns about how many points Philadelphia can put up this time around, even with Nick Foles playing well at quarterback. Grab the value of the under in a line that White believes has been set too high for this NFC divisional round battle at the Superdome.
White also has made the call against the spread in both games on Sunday, and is all over an underdog you're not expecting. Anyone who makes this pick could hit it big.
So what four-way parlay could lead to a huge payout on Sunday? And which underdog is going to shock the NFL? Visit SportsLine now to see what picks you should make on Sunday, all from the expert who keeps crushing the world's most prestigious handicapping tournament, and find out.
