Eagles defensive coordinator Todd Bowles could join Arians in Arizona

New Cardinals coach Bruce Arians is exploring options for a new defensive coordinator and is high on Eagles coordinator Todd Bowles, according to league sources.

Ray Horton, who was considered for the Cards head coaching job, has let the organization know he would like to explore other options as well, sources said. Bowles has several years left on his deal with the Eagles but with a new coach there in Chip Kelly, several league sources expect the Eagles to make a change at that coordinator spot as well.

The Browns, who are interviewing candidates to replace Dick Jauron as defensive coordinator, according to sources, interviewed Horton for their head coaching job, and he fits the attack-minded DC they are seeking.

If Horton is let go from the Cardinals, league sources said the Browns would have significant interest.
