Eagles work out Indiana (Pa.) OL Ethan Cooper

The Philadelphia Eagles are back to hosting pre-draft visits, heading to the western part of the state for their latest invite.

According to NFL Draft Diamonds, the Eagles will invite Indiana (Pa.) offensive lineman Ethan Cooper for a pre-draft workout. Cooper will be the eighth pre-draft visit from the Eagles, who are allowed up to 30.

The Eagles have brought in Cooper after an impressive NFL Scouting Combine, which he put his 6-2, 322-pound frame on full display.

Cooper has displayed solid lateral quickness with improving footwork since his freshman year at IUP. He's shown versatility on the offensive line, having played left guard in 2015 before switching over to right tackle in 2016.

While Cooper has potential, his competition at the Division II level may cause some growing pains in his rookie season. Of course, the same was said on offensive lineman Jahri Evans, who came out of fellow PSAC school Bloomsburg before earning four First Team All-Pro selections.

Cooper, a Harrisburg native, grew up an Eagles fan and is a huge fan of Jason Peters. He enjoys Peters's athleticism and footwork, which is what he strives for at the next level.

While Cooper has rising stock, he's still projected to go undrafted by CBS Sports.

The Eagles could certainly find a gem in Cooper if they get him under offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland's tutelage.
