For the first time in league history, four NFL teams boast 7-0 records
The Panthers, Patriots, Broncos and Bengals are all undefeated.
Despite blowing a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter, the Panthers survived against the Colts on Monday night, winning the game in overtime. And really, it was a historic win -- not necessarily for the Panthers, but for the entire league.
For the first time in NFL history, four teams have started off the season by winning their first seven games.
In Week 8, the Bengals beat the Steelers, the Broncos slammed the Packers, and the Patriots hammered the Dolphins. And, as previously mentioned, the Panthers beat the Colts in overtime on Monday night.
For three of those four teams, Week 9 is looking favorable, as the Bengals host the Browns on Thursday night, the Patriots host the Redskins, and the Broncos play the free-falling Colts. But the Panthers will be saddled with a tough task when the Packers pay them a visit.
Meanwhile, while those four teams go for win No. 8, the 3-5 Colts will look to remain atop the AFC South.
