How to watch, stream Chiefs vs. Falcons: Start time, TV channel, odds, predictions

The Chiefs and Falcons both enter Week 13 as playoff teams. Combined, they've won 15 games. So, their matchup in Atlanta on Sunday figures to be one of the best games of the week.

The Chiefs are coming off a thrilling come-from-behind overtime win over the Broncos that only materialized due to Alex Smith's eight-point drive at the end of regulation and their game-winning field goal that banked in off the upright. With the win, the Chiefs are just a game back of the Raiders in the AFC West and currently own one of the two wild card spots.

Meanwhile, the Falcons are fresh off a beatdown of the Cardinals. They're leading the NFC South by a game with the Buccaneers chasing them.

This game will most likely come down to the Falcons' high-flying offenses against the Chiefs' opportunistic defense. The Falcons are ranked third in yards per game and first in points scored, with 32.5 per game. They're second in offensive DVOA. The Chiefs' defense has allowed a ton of yards this season (the fifth most, to be exact), but it's allowed just 19.5 points per game. One reason why the Chiefs are overperforming on defense is because they're incredibly good at taking the ball away, leading the league with 24 takeaways.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs, the Falcons don't turn the ball over too often. They've committed nine turnovers this season.

On the other side of the ball, the Chiefs' offense is exactly what you'd expect: average. It's ranked 16th in scoring (22.9 points per game). Atlanta, though, has the fourth-worst scoring defense, allowing 27.5 points per game. So, expect the Chiefs to move the ball. The question is if Smith can keep up with Matt Ryan.

Injury report

Prisco's Pick

This is a tough turnaround for the Chiefs after beating Denver on Sunday night. The Falcons looked good against Arizona last week, and that offense is tough to stop. Look for Matt Ryan to have a big day as the Falcons take it.

Pick: Falcons 27, Chiefs 20
