Johnny Manziel isn't exactly your prototypical pocket passer, but that doesn't mean he'd fail in a pocket-passing offense. As a matter of fact, Luke Joeckel -- Johnny Football's former teammate at Texas A&M -- doesn't think Manziel would really fail in any offense.

"I think he'd fit into any NFL system," Joeckel told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Monday. "He's a guy that just can play football, he's an extremely smart guy. He's a competitor. You know, every  single Sunday, he'll come out there and he wants to win football games. He's a football player."

The Jaguars offensive linemen spent two seasons with Manziel at Texas A&M, including 2012 when Johnny Football won the Heisman Trophy as a redshirt freshman.

"There's one thing that no one can really deny with Johnny, is that he can play football," Joeckel said. "Playing with him, being with him for two years at A&M, he goes out there and he competes and he wants to win. I loved playing with him."

Part of the reason Manziel could play in any NFL system is because of his football smarts, according to Joeckel.

"His football intelligence is incredible. He did things in college, I can remember going back on Sundays and watching film of it and the offensive line would just be laughing about some of the stuff he can do," Joeckel said. "He studies the game, he's smart with the game, he knows how to make the right decisions."

There's an outside chance that Joeckel and Manziel could be reunited in Jacksonville. The Jaguars have the third overall pick in May's NFL Draft and it wouldn't be shocking if they took a quarterback. Manziel visited with the Jaguars back on April 8
