Cleveland Browns safety Jordan Poyer was discharged from a Nashville hospital on Tuesday.
Cleveland Browns safety Jordan Poyer has been discharged from a Nashville hospital on Tuesday. He spent the night on Sunday and Monday after sustaining a lacerated kidney on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Poyer is not allowed to fly with his injury so he will ride back to Cleveland in a car.
Finally discharged from the hospital in Nashville. Unable to fly so an 8 hr car ride back to The Land will do. Thank you all for the support— Jordan poyer (@J_Poy33) October 18, 2016
The Browns announced on Tuesday that they were placing him on the injured reserve which means he is almost assuredly done for the season. He had 39 tackles this season in his first season as a starter.
