The turf at Levi's Stadium has claimed its latest victim. Last week, it was Ravens kicker Justin Tucker who looked as if he had been swallowed by a sinkhole while attempting a kick. This week, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson suffered a similar fate.
On Thursday night, Wilson scrambled outside of the pocket on a third down. When he went to slide to avoid taking a hit, he still ended up getting tackled -- by the turf.

Let's take another look at that turf tackle...

On a serious note, Wilson luckily avoided an injury on that awkward looking slide.
So when does the NFL actually do something about the atrocious condition of this field? Maybe sometime in the 106 days before SB50?
