Lions sign Taylor Mays

The Lions signed safety Taylor Mays , his agent told the Detroit Free Press. 

Mays has played the last four seasons with Cincinnati, primarily on special teams. He'll compete for time at safety as well as on special teams. 

The Lions have one open roster spot remaining.
