LOOK: All 30 NBA team logos have been re-created as NFL helmets
What if NBA teams had NFL helmets? Sounds like a silly question but the results are actually amazing.

Recreating NFL helmets is all the rage these days. But a couple dudes just took things next level by imagining NBA teams as NFL helmets.
Is Kendrick Perkins really playing basketball at this point anyway? Let's be real here. They created some ground rules, however, while noting "The NBA does not have helmets."
FACTS, Y'ALL.
Rule 1: No copy and pasting logos.
Rule 2: No basketballs (21 of 30 NBA teams have basketballs in their logos, apparently. Be more creative, NBA teams.)
Let's look a few of them individually, but feel free to check out the gallery below or in a separate window OR at JamesPoliti.com.
For starters, how about we check out what the two LOS ANGELES teams' designs look like. Since, you know, L.A. Football, Raiders, Chargers, Rams, etc.
The Clippers helmet (above) is beautiful. They "let the Lakers colors speak for themselves" which works in the NBA, but as a football team helmet I'm not in love with it.
Purple and gold feels a lot less dangerous on the gridiron.

A few of the helmets are just downright snagged from current NFL teams. Not sure why the Mavericks would have thunderbolts but sure OK.

Um, guys. You do know about the Cowboys right?
Because the Magic are the Cowboys with pinstripes.

And the Wizards are just American Gladiator Cowboys.

The Jazz might as well draft Steamin' Willie Beamen.

The Golden State Warriors have a very "Oregon Rose Bowl" feel about them. Could totally see Nike making this happen if some NFL team approved.

THE ROCKETS ARE MUTANT PAC MEN.

While the Pelicans were born to be an NFL team. The next expansion team needs to be a harmless, creepy bird and it needs to steal this logo.
