If the Cowboys don't win the Super Bowl this year, there's going to be a lot of disappointed fans in Dallas. However, there's a good chance that none of them will be as disappointed as Jordan Garnett, a fan who decided to celebrate the Cowboys' Super Bowl win two months early by getting a tattoo on his arm.
As an NFL fan, there's really only two rules you should always follow:
- Never bet on the Browns.
- Never get a Super Bowl tattoo before your team is actually in the Super Bowl.
It's that simple.
Garnett broke rule No. 2. Here's what his tattoo looks like.
@nfl Hey Dallas Cowboys! Now it's official. Don't let me down. SUPER BOWL 51 CHAMPIONS!!! Tattooed on 12/6/16. I'm calling it now. pic.twitter.com/BRDkhicgOS

The good news for Garnett is that is it actually looks like he could squeeze a few extra Roman numerals in there, so if the Cowboys don't win it this year, he can make it a Super Bowl LII, Super Bowl LIII or Super Bowl LIV tattoo.
The bad new for Garnett is that everyone in Dallas now hates him for jinxing the team.
Stop messaging me saying it's fake. It's 100% real. I had no idea getting a tattoo would result in death threats. Relax. We will win. pic.twitter.com/kocsIoSdix

Getting a "Super Bowl champs" tattoo almost never works out for the fan.
Two years ago, a Cowboys fan, a Lions fan and a Seahawks fan all got tattoos saying that their teams were going to win Super Bowl XLIX. None of them won.
Last year, an Eagles fan and a Cardinals fan both got a tattoo saying their teams would win Super Bowl 50. Arizona lost in the NFC title game and Philly didn't even make the playoffs.
Basically, it's been an ugly run for fans who have gotten Super Bowl tattoos before their team won the Super Bowl. On the other hand, some bold Cleveland fan might want to get an "0-16" tattoo because that might be the jinx the Browns need to end their losing streak.
