Two of the first people to arrive at the ESPYs on Wednesday were J.J. Watt and Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn.

As Watt and Vonn were walking down the red carpet at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, they were stopped by ESPN's Hannah Storm, who had a few questions for the two athletes.

First, Storm wanted to know how Watt was able to win the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year award, despite the fact that he played most of the season with a herniated disk and five fully or partially torn core muscles, including a tear in his groin muscle.

"I have a very good training staff, and I have great teammates, that's what it all comes down to," Watt said.

Basically, Watt said exactly what you'd expect him to say. After that though, Vonn followed up with a way more entertaining theory on how Watt was able to play through his injuries.

"Lots of massages, in the groin area," Vonn said with a giant smile on her face.

Judging by Watt's reaction, it's clearly not easy to concentrate after someone makes a groin joke on live TV. After the groin comment, Storm tried to continue the interview, but Watt and Vonn just weren't having it.

A few minutes after the interview, someone on twitter accused Vonn of being drunk because that's what people on Twitter do.

Vonn's response?

Although Vonn and Watt aren't believed to be dating, they did seem to have a good time at the ESPYs. Besides arriving on the red carpet together, they also sat in a photo booth together.

Anyway, you can see the red carpet interview with Storm, Watt and Vonn below.
