Yes, 1991 was a magical year in America. Nirvana's Nevermind was released, tainting the innocent minds of teenagers everywhere and creating a clear demarcification for the pre- and post-grunge era. 

A pre-grunge item (and one that's suddenly fashionable again??) of note: ZUBAZ. 

That's what Jay Gruden was wearing in '91 while playing for the Arena Football League's Tampa Bay Storm.

The team remembered that "Banner Year" and provided us an excuse to post a picture of the Redskins head coach and his fashion-forward uniform.
