The Seahawks have a live hawk mascot, which is pretty awesome until the bird starts getting loose before games and landing on the shoulders of fans in the stands, in which case it only becomes awesomer.

Or the scariest thing ever, if you're the person whose shoulder the bird lights down on.

Seriously though, this is pretty fantastic. And fans thought so too (well, not the one with a hawk on the head).

But there's no way the Seahawks can think this is smart from a liability standpoint.

It's all fun and games until a the hawk spies someone pounding a bucket of Seattle Champion-Chip nachos and decides to go full alpha-bird by disemboweling the fan and flying off with the 'chos.

And of course video eventually emerged.
