Mathias Kiwanuka on Jerry Jones: 'Giants have been whooping his ass for a long time'

There's no love lost between the Giants and the Cowboys, especially with New York taking Dallas down in the season finale last year to clinch a playoff berth and rolling it right into a second Super Bowl title in five years.

Adding fuel to the fire is Jerry Jones recent request for fans to "come to [Cowboys] stadium and watch us beat the Giants' ass." Mathias Kiwanuka, appearing on WFAN's Boomer and Carton Thursday, had some words for the 'Boys owner.

"He should [make that guarantee],” Kiwanuka said "I mean, the Giants have been whooping his ass for a long time."

Maybe? Kind of seems like Jerry should avoiding doing anything to anger the Giants, even if he did beef up his secondary this offseason after it essentially cost him the final game against the Giants because of an inability to guard Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks.

The reality of the situation is that Jones seeing the Giants win titles probably doesn't take him back to his glory-hole days, and Kiwanuka hit that right on the head in the interview.

"It’s got to be tough on the outside looking in on all of these championships lately," Kiwanuka said. "That’s the feeling I feel like everybody in the league has, and it’s what they should have. Because when you’re on top everybody should be wanting to knock you off."

Fortunately for the Giants, the Jets are in their town, so no one seems to pay attention when it comes to their hopes for a Super Bowl repeat.

That should change once, you know, actual football starts and they line up across from the Cowboys during the NFL's kickoff on Wednesday, September 5. But if the boys in Big D don't do better than their 0-2 job against the Giants last year, it's going to steam Jerry pretty bad. And that could mean some more burned buttocks in the Dallas area.
