Matt Prater replaces Matt Bryant at kicker in Pro Bowl.
The Detroit Lions officially have a Pro Bowler from the 2016 season, and it's their kicker Matt Prater.
Prater was named to the Pro Bowl on Monday, replacing Matt Bryant of the Atlanta Falcons, who will be off to the Super Bowl after beating the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon. Prater was a first alternate and got the call.

It's just the second time since 2000 the Lions have landed a kicker in the Pro Bowl, with Jason Hanson being the other team kicker to do so that year.
Prater had a solid 2016 season, connecting on 31 of 36 kicks. He'll take part in the festivities this weekend from Orlando.
