Michael Thomas, Wil Lutz named to PFWA All-Rookie Team

A pair of New Orleans Saints rookies were named to the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie Team, the association announced on Tuesday.

Wide receiver Michael Thomas and kicker Wil Lutz were both selected to the squad, which is voted on by members of the Pro Football Writers Association.

Thomas - the Saints second-round pick out of Ohio State - finished his stellar rookie season with 92 catches, 1,137 receiving yards and nine total touchdowns; all Saints rookie records. Lutz - undrafted out of Georgia State - connected on 28 of his 34 field goals attempts on the season.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was selected as the Rookie of the Year by the PFWA.
