It appears Mike Munchak will learn his fate with the Tennessee Titans on Friday.
Munchak will meet with owner Tommy Smith on Friday, according to the Tennessean's Jim Wyatt.
It's no secret that Munchak's job hangs in the balance. In three seasons with the Titans, he has gone 22-26 and endured back-to-back losing seasons. He still has one year remaining on the four-year contract he signed in 2011 to replace Jeff Fisher.
Munchak has been meeting with general manager Ruston Webster throughout the week, and the two are reportedly scheduled to meet with Smith in Houston. There's certainly a business side to this, as Munchak's coordinators are no longer under contract. There's a sense that Munchak will need to shake up his staff if he is to keep his job.
All this will almost certainly be cleared up through the day.
