Lost in the shuffle of Russell Wilson being placed on IR was that the Seahawks also lost their starting running back to injury in Chris Carson. That forced backup Alex Collins into a bigger role, but the injury bug struck Seattle again when Collins hurt his hip last week. He's questionable for Monday Night Football versus the Saints at 8:15 p.m. ET, leaving the Seahawks scrambling at the position. The team may have to resort to a running-back-by-committee, which doesn't inspire much confidence for daily Fantasy football players.

DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer are the next men up if you want to slot either third-down back into your NFL DFS lineups. But a potential boom-or-bust option out of the backfield is Rashaad Penny, who is coming off IR (calf). He's a former first-round pick so the talent is unquestionable, but do you feel comfortable rolling the dice with him as one of Monday's NFL DFS picks? Before submitting your NFL DFS lineups for Monday Night Football, be sure to check out the NFL DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy football picks from SportsLine's Mike McClure

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1 percent in more than a dozen other tournaments last season.

He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to Monday Night Football slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NFL DFS picks for Seahawks vs. Saints

One of McClure's top NFL DFS picks for Monday Night Football is Saints running back Alvin Kamara. The four-time Pro Bowler is coming off his finest all-around game of the season in Week 5 vs. Washington. Kamara had 71 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while also adding 51 yards and a score through the air.

Many wondered how the departure of Drew Brees would impact Kamara and it's only been a positive effect thus far. Kamara is averaging a career-high of 73.6 rushing yards per game and he's also scored three receiving TDs, which puts him on pace for a career-high in that category as well. The Seahawks have allowed the third-most Fantasy points to opposing running backs this year, so look for Kamara to continue the decimation of Seattle's run defense.

Part of McClure's optimal NFL DFS strategy also includes stacking Kamara with quarterback Jameis Winston, who is coming off a four-touchdown game vs. Washington and ranks fifth in the NFL in passer rating. Winston has seven touchdowns versus one pick over his last three games and has posted a passer rating above 100 in each one.

His hot streak should continue versus a Seahawks defense that is far removed from its Legion of Boom dominance. Seattle has given up the most yards in the league and allowed over 300 passing yards in four of its last five games. Winston may also benefit from not losing any snaps to Taysom Hill, who has been ruled out (concussion). Thus, all the signs are pointing to Winston having another huge game on Monday Night Football.
