NFL Monday QB crew leaning towards Ravens to win Super Bowl XLVII

NEW ORELANS - It’s finally here. After 16 weeks of predictions, some better than others, the NFL Monday QB crew lays it all on the line to predict who will win The Big Chesse. The Monster Meatball. The Big Beignet. The King Crawdad, also know as  Super Bowl XLVII. The gang is big on the Baltimore Ravens and here's why.

Rich Gannon’s pick: Baltimore Ravens 31-28 (OT)

“This could come down to a field goal and at that point who do you trust more?” Rich said. David Akers, San Francisco 49ers kicker, has missed more field goals than anyone this year (13) while Baltimore Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker is 14 of 17 from outside 40 yards. This could be won late in the game and maybe even in overtime, according to Gannon.

Steve Beuerlein’s pick: Baltimore Ravens 24-20
Steve is going with the more intangible, emotional angle for his pick. The winner will be picked by determination and belief in fate according to him. “The Ravens believe they’re the team of destiny and that they are gong to find a way to win this ball game for their leader Ray Lewis,” Steve said. Steve is also 0 for 2 on Championship Sunday picks. Just saying.

Dan Marino’s pick: San Francisco 49ers
Colin Kaepernick is going to have some huge, dynamic impact plays in this game,” Dan said. However, like he did before on NFL Monday QB, he does reserve the right to change his mind on his pick. I guess when you’re Dan Marino you can do that.
