The Saints are the weekend's biggest favorites, as they're laying 7.5 points at home in the latest NFL odds, while Eagles vs. Seahawks is a pick'em, meaning neither team is favored.

Wild Card NFL picks to target

One of the Wild Card Weekend NFL predictions that the model is most confident in is that the Vikings (10-6) stay within a 7.5-point spread Sunday when they visit the 13-3 Saints. The Saints boast the fourth-best scoring offense (28.6 points per game) in the NFL, but the Vikings have the firepower to keep this matchup within a score.

Vikings running back Dalvin Cook, who will return from a shoulder injury, averaged 2.4 yards after contact per carry in 2019 and gashed the Saints for 127 yards the last time he played them back in 2017. Cook should be able to help keep down-and-distance manageable and draw defenders into the box so Cousins can attack downfield with receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen

The Vikings only lost once one the road by more than seven points this season, and the model says Cousins throws for 250 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Cook puts up well over 100 yards from scrimmage and scores as the Vikings cover in well over 50 percent of simulations.

The model also has made the call against the spread, on the over-under, and on the money line for every other game on the Wild Card Weekend NFL schedule. It's also projecting a favorite to go down hard in an outright upset that will shake up the 2019 NFL playoff bracket in a huge way, so you need to see its NFL picks before locking in any of your own.
