NFL Week 12 expert picks, bets, and odds: Parlay of the week

With six weeks left in the season, 26 NFL teams are still in a legitimate hunt for a playoff berth, and getting a win is critical. Week 12 will also be huge for anyone paying attention to Larry Hartstein's NFL picks.

He's on quite a run. Hartstein, SportsLine's senior analyst, combines a vast network of Vegas sources with an analytical approach he honed during his years working for Pro Football Focus.

In the past two seasons, he has gone 102-79-6 on NFL game picks. And he's on a roll right now. In his past 10 NFL picks, Hartstein has hit the mark on eight of them -- a robust 80 percent clip.

Those who have jumped on board with Hartstein didn't have to choose between pecan and pumpkin pie this week.

Hartstein has released his top NFL Week 12 picks for Sunday over at SportsLine. Putting these three in a parlay will return a huge 6-1 payout. If you bet $100 on it, you would make $600. If you go big, it could be a life-changing bet.

We'll give one away: Hartstein strongly believes in the Eagles' ability to cover a 13-point spread at home against the Bears. That's a big number, but the Eagles have crushed better competition by bigger margins.

Philly, which owns the NFL's best record at 9-1, has won eight in a row. It has also won its past three games by at least 23 points.

Chicago was 3-4 but has lost three straight, including a home defeat to the rival Packers two weeks ago. The Bears are the only team to lose to the Pack since Aaron Rodgers went down.

The Bears will try to establish the run with standout running back Jordan Howard, but Philly is the league's toughest on running backs, allowing an NFL-best 71 yards per game on the ground.

That means the Bears will likely have to rely on Mitchell Trubisky to score. But Chicago's passing offense ranks second-to-last in the league and Trubisky has just four touchdown passes in six games.

Chicago's defense is a respectable 11th overall, but just lost pass rusher Leonard Floyd (5.5 sacks) to a knee injury.

The Bears have covered just one of their five road games, while the Eagles have covered at home four straight times. Hartstein is confident those streaks continue.

He's also targeting a game the oddsmakers have completely wrong as well as a home team that isn't getting nearly the respect it deserves. And he's sharing who those teams are, and who to back, over at SportsLine.

So what are the three NFL picks that Hartstein is confident in that could return a huge 6/1 payout in Week 12 if you parlay them together? Visit SportsLine now to see which line the oddsmakers have completely wrong, and which home team isn't getting enough respect, all from the expert on an astonishing 80 percent winning streak on his NFL selections.
