Enter the Redskins, who will have had a mini-bye by Monday after playing last Thursday, allowing quarterback Colt McCoy to have the reps he didn't get on the short week against the Cowboys. Washington still played well in that game and nearly covered as a seven-point 'dog in Dallas against a team that just proved it's far better than the Eagles. That means this line makes zero sense." 

And a massive shocker: White is backing the Buccaneers (+3.5) to cover at home against the Panthers. 

"The Panthers are just 1-4 on the road, including losses in Atlanta and Detroit," White told SportsLine. "Like those teams, the Bucs are 4-7, but they've scored over 25 in all but two of their 11 games. The Panthers covered in Carolina against the Bucs by scoring 42 points, but I don't see that big of an offensive explosion for them on the road, where the Panthers have failed to score more than 24 this year despite some juicy matchups."
