Packers tight end Brandon Bostick didn't catch a pass during Sunday's NFC Championship Game. He wasn't supposed to catch the onside kick at the end of the game either. Bostick told reporters after the game he was supposed to block for his teammates with 2:09 left in the game.
"I let my team down, I feel like," Bostick said. "There was a lot on this game. I just feel like if I was able to do my job - my assignment was to block - Jordy would've caught the ball and the game would've been over."
When the ball was kicked, Bostick popped up and tried to make a play on the ball, only to have it bounce off of his hands and into a Seahawks' arms.
"I felt like I had my hands on the ball," Bostick said. "It just slipped away, I guess. I just got hit and didn't have the ball."
