MVP -- Peyton Manning, Broncos -- He has almost 3,000 yards halfway through the season with 29 touchdown passes. Who else could it be?

Runners-up:  Bengals QB Andy Dalton and Saints QB Drew Brees.

Offensive Player of the Year -- Peyton Manning, Broncos -- Look at those numbers.

Runners-up: Saints QB Drew Brees, Lions WR Calvin Johnson and Eagles RB LeSean McCoy.

Defensive Player of the Year -- Robert Mathis, Colts -- He leads the NFL in sacks and has done a heck of a job against the run.

Runners-up:  Cowboys DT Jason Hatcher, Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson,

Coach of the Year -- Andy Reid, Chiefs -- His team is 8-0 and in first place. What a job he has done.

Runners-up: Marvin Lewis, Bengals, Mike McCoy, Chargers.

Defensive Rookie of the Year -- Kiko Alonso, Bills -- He has been a special player. He has a real nose for the football. Can play the run and pass. He has four interceptions.

Runners-up: 49ers S Eric Reid, Jets DT Sheldon Richardson, Chiefs CB Marcus Cooper and Cardinals S Tyrann Mathieu.

Offensive Rookie of the Year -- Eddie Lacy, Packers -- He has really added another dimension to the Green Bay offense. They can run it.

Runners-up: Cowboys WR Terrence Williams, Redskins RE Jordan Reed and Cardinals RB Andre Ellington.

Most-improved player -- Robert Quinn, Rams -- He has emerged as one of the league's best pass rushers.

Biggest surprise (player) -- Jordan Cameron, Browns -- He has 49 catches and six touchdown receptions.

Runner-up: Broncos TE Julius Thomas

Biggest disappointment (player) -- Mike WallaceDolphins --He has 30 catches and just one touchdown catch. That's not too much bang for the big buck he received.

Runners-up: Patriots QB Tom Brady.

Biggest surprise (team) -- Kansas City Chiefs -- They are 8-0. They've gone from drafting first to undefeated? Wow.

Runner-up: Chargers.

Biggest disappointment (team) -- Atlanta Falcons -- Yes, they've had a ton of injuries, but at 2-5 they might be done.

Runners-up: Giants, Steelers.
